Purple Elephant Ventures (PEV), a Nairobi-based venture studio, raised $4.5 million to support startups focused on sustainable tourism in Africa. Founded in 2020, PEV develops eco-friendly and tech-driven solutions for the hospitality industry. The investment, backed by Clear Creek Investment and former Lastminute.com CEO, will expand its startup portfolio, including Nomad Africa and Kijani Supplies.
