Nigeria has been designated host of the 5th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) in 2027, announced by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Algiers at the 2025 opening. Co-organized by Afreximbank, the AU, and AfCFTA Secretariat, the IATF has generated USD 118 billion in trade and investment deals across its last three editions, attracting 70,000 visitors and 4,500 exhibitors since 2018.
