On October 10, 2025, the Nigerian government announced the creation of a technology innovation hub in Katsina, valued at around USD 10 billion. Led by Communications Minister Bosun Tijani and supported by Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, the hub will train 3 million young technical talents and expand access to ICT, including satellite Internet for underserved areas, reinforcing the country’s digital transformation strategy.
