The Anglo-Dutch company Shell has just bought the Nigerian renewable energy supplier Daystar Power, it was announced energy supplier Daystar Power, it was announced on 28 September. This is the first
acquisition of its kind in the African power sector, to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
Daystar is a provider of hybrid solar power to commercial and industrial companies in Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and industrial companies in Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana.
