The Dangote refinery in Nigeria has started exporting refined petroleum products to West Africa. A first tanker delivered a shipment of gasoline off the coast of Togo, marking a milestone for the mega-refinery. These exports could reduce the region’s reliance on expensive European imports and influence local prices.
