On June 4, 2025, Nigeria renewed efforts to fund the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline (USD 25B). VP Kashim Shettima met with Vitol to attract technical and financial partners. Backed by President Bola Tinubu, the project aims to transport Nigerian gas to Europe via West Africa, anchoring Nigeria’s gas-led energy transition strategy.
