Nigeria : $700 million from the World Bank for girls’ education

Nigeria has benefited from $700 million in funding from the World Bank to improve secondary education opportunities for girls. This new stage of the program will increase the targeted beneficiaries by including out-of-school girls, those who are married and those who are disabled. More vulnerable girls will be reached in 18 states, by providing digital skills, a more conducive learning environment and life skills, to see more than 8.6 million girls complete their secondary education.
