Nigeria : $1.3B locally-built onshore oil terminal launched in Otakikpo

On June 8, 2025, Green Energy International Ltd. launched Nigeria’s first locally designed and operated onshore oil terminal in Otakikpo (Southeast). It handles 360,000 barrels/day and stores 750,000 barrels, expandable to 3 million. Investment will exceed $1.3 billion — a turning point for a sector long dominated by foreign operators.
