Niger : over 42 billion FCFA of misappropriated or illegally acquired public funds recovered

The Economic, Financial, and Fiscal Crime Fighting Commission (CoLDEFF) announced the recovery of over 42 billion FCFA by April 19, 2024. Colonel Abdoul Walid Djibo, President of CoLDEFF, presented the mid-term activities report during an audience with the President of the CNSP and Head of State, Brigadier General Abdourahamane Tiani. Established in September 2023, CoLDEFF aims to recover misappropriated or illegally acquired public funds.
