Namibia : Strategic partnership with Angola to expand satellite connectivity

Namibia’s Ministry of ICT has announced a partnership with Angola to leverage AngoSat-2, Angola’s national communications satellite, to extend voice and internet access to underserved areas. The initiative, led by Telecom Namibia and GGPEN, seeks to close connectivity gaps where terrestrial networks are lacking. A pilot project will assess service feasibility before wider implementation.
