On 3 September 2025, Paratus Group launched Namibia’s first private mobile network, 4G LTE with 5G readiness. Coinciding with Paratus Namibia’s 20th anniversary, the project mobilises N$600m (≈$34m). The rollout covers 50 towns and 80 communities; Nokia and Cerillion are partners. The integrated offer aims to be affordable, transparent and to challenge state incumbents.
