On September 19, 2025, Nasan Energies Namibia reached an agreement with Vivo Energy Namibia to acquire 53 Engen- and Shell-branded service stations. Subject to approval by the Namibian Competition Commission, the deal would position Nasan Energies as one of the first major locally owned oil marketing companies. The transaction boosts local ownership and competition in Namibia’s energy sector, traditionally dominated by multinationals.
