On June 30, 2025, Namibia will officially dispatch its first export under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) from Walvis Bay. This milestone signals Namibia’s full entry into Africa’s single market of 1.3 billion people. The AfCFTA aims to boost trade, industrialisation, and economic diversification, with Namibia focusing on agro-processing, manufacturing, and logistics.
