Namibia : economy reaches N$64.8 billion despite slower growth

Namibia’s economy expanded to N$64.8 billion between April and June 2025, up by N$6 billion from last year, according to the Bank of Namibia. Real annual growth slowed to 1.6%, hindered by declines in manufacturing, fishing, and agriculture. Mining, driven by uranium, was the only primary industry to record growth. Inflation fell to 3.6% thanks to stable fuel prices, while private credit demand increased slightly.
