Namibia plans to produce 2.5 million tons of natural gas annually, worth over $1.5 billion at current market prices. The announcement came during the 2025 International Energy Conference in Windhoek. Backed by NAMCOR, the plan focuses on monetizing gas resources, expanding infrastructure, and establishing Namibia as a key energy hub in Southern Africa.
