Mozambique: $11 million from AfDB to strengthen climate resilience
Mozambique has received an $11 million grant from the African Development Fund to fund the Climate Resilient Food & Nutrition Security for Women, Youth & Smallholders Project (CREFONS). Implemented by the WFP and local ministries, this initiative targets 10,000 direct beneficiaries, focusing on displaced persons returning to Cabo Delgado. It aims to improve food security, socioeconomic inclusion, and climate resilience while supporting women and youth.
