On May 30, 2025, Valerius Morocco launched a $10.2M garment factory in Salé, with Minister Ryad Mezzour attending. Backed by the FDII, the unit will create 1,640 jobs. As part of the fast-fashion ecosystem, it targets global brands with high-quality output, eco-dyeing, and recycled fibers—strengthening Morocco-Portugal industrial ties.
