Morocco – UK : MoU signed to support FIFA World Cup 2030 with $50 million strategic partnership

On June 2, 2025, Morocco and the United Kingdom signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Salé to back the organization of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Signed by Fouzi Lekjaa, Moroccan Minister Delegate for Budget, and David Lammy, UK Secretary of State, this MoU covers collaboration on sports infrastructure, transport, and event management, boosting bilateral cooperation.
