The remittances from Moroccans living abroad (MREs) has increased at an annual rate of nearly 15%, breaking all possible records in 2022 according to the Office des Changes (OE). The wealth generated by Moroccans living abroad is approaching 100 billion dirhams (MAD), or $10 billion, making it one of the kingdom’s four main sources of income.
