On July 8, 2025, Morocco signed an MoU with WIPO to modernize its copyright framework and promote cultural heritage. Signed in Geneva by Minister Mehdi Bensaid and WIPO Director General Daren Tang, the agreement includes the use of WIPOCONNECT and aims to globalize the “Label Maroc” through enhanced legal tools.
