Morocco : MoU signed for Kénitra Gigafactory between CDG and Gotion High-Tech

On November 13, the Caisse de dépôt et de gestion (CDG) and Gotion High-Tech signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Hefei to support the electric battery gigafactory in Kénitra. The partnership includes CDG Invest taking a stake in Gotion Power Morocco through the NAMA fund. This strategic project, aimed at supporting the electrification of Morocco’s automotive sector, will start with a production of 20 GWh of batteries and the creation of 2,300 jobs.
