Mistral AI, a French company specializing in generative artificial intelligence, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Moroccan government to establish a research and development center in Morocco. The partnership, signed by Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni and CEO Arthur Mensch, aims to strengthen local AI skills through training, applied research, and knowledge sharing. It will also support startups and industrial projects developing AI solutions tailored to the needs of Moroccan businesses. The project focuses on ethical, inclusive, and responsible use of AI, safeguarding data, and building citizen trust. This collaboration marks a significant step in Morocco’s ambition to become a regional hub for digital innovation and artificial intelligence.
