Morocco-Mauritania : a power interconnection project for african integration

In the presence of Ambassador Hamid Chabar, Morocco and Mauritania have signed an agreement for an electricity interconnection project. Part of the Royal Atlantic Initiative, this project will enhance network reliability and facilitate energy exchanges, including between Europe and West Africa via WAPP. ONEE and SOMELEC have already begun implementation discussions.
