On 25 November 2025, Morocco and easyJet signed an agreement to open the airline’s first base outside Europe in Marrakech in 2026, with three Airbus A320 and an investment exceeding €150M. ONMT expects a 17% increase in seats to Morocco by 2030 and around 100 direct jobs. Morocco is also investing 38 B MAD to modernize airports and triple national capacity, supporting booming tourism with 16.6 M visitors Jan-Oct 2025.
