Morocco : €3.6 billion airport expansion plan

On July 24, 2025, the Moroccan government and ONDA signed a 2025–2030 agreement committing MAD 38 billion (≈ €3.6 billion) to upgrade and expand airport infrastructure nationwide.
MAD 25 billion will be allocated to expanding key airports—including a new hub terminal and runway at Casablanca Mohammed V, as well as upgrades in Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier and Fez. The remaining MAD 13 billion will support maintenance, modernization and land acquisition. This initiative aligns with the Airports 2030 strategy, aiming to double annual passenger capacity from 38 to 80 million by 2030.
