Morocco : AfDB approves $163M credit line for FEC to boost sustainable infrastructure
On December 10, 2025, in Abidjan, the African Development Bank approved a €150M ($163M) credit line for Morocco’s Fonds d’équipement communal (FEC). The financing will support sustainable and inclusive infrastructure: mobility and roads, drinking water access, rural connectivity, urban renewal, and educational, cultural and sports facilities. Achraf Hassan Tarsim and Ahmed Attout highlight that the operation strengthens territorial resilience and supports Morocco’s decentralization strategy.
