From December 9 to 11, Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, hosted a Continental Conference on Education. The main obstacles to education such as insufficient infrastructure, lack of qualified teachers, limited access to digital technologies are to be discussed. Heads of state, ministers, experts from the education sector and international partners are meeting there to meet current challenges and prepare youth for the demands of the 21st century.
