On January 26, 2021, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and the Green and Digital Economy launched a new program called « Tatwir Green Growth » of a billion dh (100 million €, approximately), in its first phase. It aims to support the decarbonisation of SMEs, the emergence of new competitive green industrial sectors and will be deployed by Maroc PME (Agency for the Promotion of SMEs) and AMEE (Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency). Tatwir is part of the 2021-2023 Industrial Recovery Plan, one of the strategic axes of which is the positioning of Morocco as a low-carbon and circular industrial base.
