Marbio : first ‘Made in Morocco’ vaccine ready soon

The Marbio plant in Benslimane will release its first Morocco-made vaccine in the coming weeks, announced Younes Hilali at Officine Expo 2025 in Marrakech. Founded in 2021, Marbio is a public-private partnership involving the Moroccan state, the Mohammed VI Investment Fund, Recipharm, and a banking consortium. The project aims to ensure Morocco’s health sovereignty and produce 60% of Africa’s vaccine needs by 2040.
