The state budget of Mali has crossed the 3,000 billion FCFA mark for the first time in the history of the country’s public finances. Budget revenue forecasts amount to 2,377.111 billion CFA francs compared to 2,304.475 billion CFA francs in the 2023 amended finance law, an increase of 72.635 billion CFA francs. Which corresponds to an increase of 3.15%. As for the budgetary expenditure forecasts for the 2024 financial year, they amount to 3,063.742 billion CFA francs compared to 2,994.470 billion CFA francs in the 2023 amended finance law, an increase of 69.272 billion CFA francs.
