On 1 October 2025, Afreximbank signed a US$100 million AFTRAF line of credit with NBS Bank Plc Malawi to support trade finance and the import of fertilizers, fuel, and medicines. Signed during IATF2025, the agreement underscores Afreximbank’s commitment to intra-African trade and to meeting Malawi’s strategic commodity needs.
