On 4 December 2025, Kenyan President William Ruto and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed a $2.5B five-year global health deal under the « America First » policy. The U.S. provides $1.7B, Kenya $850M, targeting HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis, modernizing healthcare and engaging faith-based providers.
