Kenya : the Central Bank cuts its key rate to 9.75%

According to a press release issued on June 10, 2025, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has again lowered its key rate by 25 basis points to 9.75%.
As a reminder, in April 2025, the CBK had already reduced its key rate by 75 basis points, from 10.75% to 10%, in order to stimulate bank lending to the private sector and support economic activity.
