On July 23, 2025, FIAT signed a new agreement with Italian supplier Sigit to manufacture plastic components in Algeria for its Tafraoui plant, in partnership with ENPC subsidiary Siplast. Announced during the Algeria-Italy Summit, the deal supports Stellantis’ localization strategy and lays the groundwork for a fully integrated automotive ecosystem in Algeria.
