Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife announced on its Twitter page that the 50-year-old model has been chosen to be its new international ambassador. Naomi Campbell « will promote … Kenya as an ideal tourist destination » as was « agreed with Cabinet Secretary for Wildlife Tourism Najib Balala over the weekend ». The British star will participate in the development of new projects, such as « upgrading Malindi airport to international standards », which should help « stimulate tourism ».
