Kenya FBI to accompany the country in its fight against terrorism

In its counter-terrorism policy, Kenya will collaborate with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for greater effectiveness.

The United States will fund the first joint working group on terrorism that will take place outside the United States. Kenya has been chosen to host the initiative. According to the State Department, the goal is to strengthen the investigative capacity of a country « on the front lines of terrorism. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is a partner in the initiative. A core group of 42 Kenyan investigators will participate in a 12-week intensive counterterrorism course at the FBI Academy in the U.S. state of Virginia.
