Kenya: launch of $16M STEM complex to train next generation of innovators

Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya has begun construction of a Sh2 billion (~$16 million) STEM Complex, aimed at boosting science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, research and innovation across Africa. The facility will include advanced computing, AI and data science labs alongside engineering and collaborative research spaces designed to equip students to address real‑world challenges and support technological growth.
