Facing ecosystem degradation and worsening climate change, Kenya has launched the national campaign « Jaza Miti » to plant 15 billion trees by 2032, restoring forests and strengthening community resilience. Over 846 million trees have been planted in two years. The initiative involves government, NGOs, companies, and local communities but faces major logistical and technical challenges.
