Ivory Coast : AfDB Hosts Africa NCA-CoP Secretariat to Promote Natural Capital

The African Development Bank (AfDB) will host the Secretariat of the Africa Natural Capital Accounting Community of Practice (Africa NCA-CoP) in Abidjan. Announced at the Africa Climate Summit 2.0 in Addis Ababa, this initiative will enable AfDB to oversee the Secretariat’s strategy and action plan in collaboration with the World Bank, UNECA, and the African Union, integrating natural capital into continental policies and investments while promoting climate-resilient African development.
