Rwanda has launched the national rollout of the Africa Trade Gateway (ATG), a joint initiative by Afreximbank and the AfCFTA Secretariat to enhance intra-African trade through a unified digital platform. The ATG enables cross-border payments, financing, and trusted business connections. Alexis Kabayiza of Rwanda’s Ministry of Trade hailed it as “a major leap toward African economic integration.”
