Intangible heritage : Henna and attiéké listed by UNESCO

At its meeting in Asunción, the Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage registered 50 new practices for 2024, including henna and attiéké from Côte d’Ivoire. These traditions enhance cultural diversity and strengthen social ties around the world. With over 700 registered practices, UNESCO is reaffirming the importance of living heritage.
