The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) raised $300 million in India through an oversubscribed operation, 50% above the target, conducted with seven Indian banks, including State Bank of India and Canara Bank. These funds will be used to finance infrastructure projects in Africa, where AFC has already invested over $13 billion. This success marks an important step in attracting foreign capital for the continent’s development.
