Infrastructure : USD 155 billion yearly investment could reshape Africa’s growth

The Africa’s Development Dynamics 2025 report (OECD–African Union Commission) finds that raising annual infrastructure investment to USD 155 billion could more than double Africa’s GDP by 2040. Spending averaged USD 83 billion between 2016 and 2020. The report highlights the key roles of governments, development partners and private capital in closing the investment gap.
