Industry : Dangote Cement launches first plant in Côte d’Ivoire at Attingué

On October 8, 2025, Dangote Cement, part of Aliko Dangote’s group, officially inaugurated its 50-hectare plant in Attingué, near Abidjan, with a 3-million-ton annual capacity and an investment of 100 billion FCFA (~$153M). The project will create over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, strengthen the construction ecosystem, support local SMEs, train young engineers through Dangote Academy, and promote sustainable development and industrial self-sufficiency.
