On Thursday in Algiers, Sonatrach signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mauritanian Hydrocarbons Company (SMH) to enhance energy collaboration. The agreement, signed by Rachid Hachichi (Sonatrach) and Ismail Abdel Vetah (SMH), covers exploration, production, training, and alternative energies. It establishes a steering committee and joint teams to develop projects, including hydrogen and natural gas liquefaction.
