Hydrocarbons : Air Liquide sells its operations in twelve African countries to Adenia Partners Ltd

Air Liquide, a global leader in industrial gases, has announced the sale of its operations in twelve African countries to the investment firm Adenia Partners Ltd. These operations, accounting for approximately 60 million euros in annual revenue, constitute less than 10% of the group’s total revenue in Africa. The countries affected include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, and Togo. Despite this divestiture, Air Liquide maintains its status as a major player in the region with around 1,600 employees and an investment of 700 million euros over the past three years.
Adenia Partners Ltd, an investment firm with over 20 years of experience in Africa, plans to inject up to 30 million euros to accelerate the development of these acquired operations.
