Hospitality : Radisson unveils two new hotels in DRC and one in Yaoundé by 2026

In 2024, Radisson Hotel Group recorded the highest number of hotel openings in Africa, with 7 new openings and 11 signed projects totaling over 2,000 signed rooms and 1,500 opened rooms. The group enters the DRC market with two hotels—Kinshasa (110 rooms) and Lubumbashi (97 rooms)—planned for 2026-2027, plus a 150-room project in Yaoundé, Cameroon by end 2026. Recent openings include Conakry (282 rooms) and Mauritius (234 rooms). Expansion targets Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria.
