Guinea : the World Bank disburses $60 million to improve Internet access

In Guinea, the Government has just announced a new investment of 60 million dollars to improve internet access.

According to the Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, this « major agreement » with the World Bank was signed on 14 December under the aegis of the President of the Transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya.

This investment is part of the Regional Digital Integration Programme for West Africa.
