Guinea : launch of “Lonnin Fanka” to bridge digital divide and train youth

On June 27, 2025, Conakry witnessed the launch of “Lonnin Fanka,” an ambitious initiative to close the digital gap and equip Guinea’s youth with future-ready skills. Supported by the Ministry of Planning and ABB Consulting, this program aligns with the national “Simandou 2040” strategy and aims to provide every Guinean with a computer, reliable Internet access, and certified training—targeting youth, women, and people with disabilities. It focuses on strengthening Guinea’s human capital, essential for sustainable development.
