Guinea : launch of first national Data Center and recovery of “.GN” domain
On September 4, 2025, in Conakry, Guinea marked a milestone in its digital transformation with the inauguration of its first Tier III-certified national Data Center and the repatriation of its “.GN” domain. Led by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, the project strengthens digital sovereignty, secures public and private data, and reduces costs previously tied to foreign hosting.
